As Founder of JSAN Subs, Inc., headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jeff currently focuses on the core business in the franchise QSR space. He owns and operates QSR locations of Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, Baskin Robbins, and Auntie Anne’s. In addition, Jeff added non QSR brand, The Gents Place, an upscale men’s grooming lounge as well as most recently added Better Lunch, a school lunch catering business, to his multi-unit portfolio.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Jeff later received a BS in Management & Entrepreneurship from Babson College, participated in the MBA program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland as well as the UNLV Master’s Program in Casino/Hotel Management.
Jeff was the Vice President– managing day to day operations for a family owned, multi-million dollar, scrap iron/ demolition company, based out of Ohio, prior to relocating to Las Vegas. It was in Las Vegas that Jeff diversified into gaming by working at the Bellagio Hotel as a Pit Clerk, at the Venetian Hotel as a Casino Marketing Coordinator and at the Hard Rock Hotel as a Casino Host refining his analytical skills in anticipating in the customers every want/need.
Jeff having exposure to the medical world via his wife Shari, a Family Practice Conceirge Physician, and having interest in compassionate health care, became a Las Vegas medical sales representative for Stryker Leibinger. Jeff was responsible for growing CMF and orthopedic implant business that required continual personal interfacing with Neuro, OMF, Plastic, ENT and Orthopedic surgeons. Jeff then joined forces as a spine consultant for Kyphon, Inc., whereby he applied his interdisciplinary physician relationships in representing, maintaining and growing Kyphoplasty—-which is a minimally invasive spine procedure than can restore quality of life to its receiving patients.
As Founder of The Mortgage Group, headquartered in Las Vegas, Jeff focused on the core business of residential mortgages. He equally engaged with a global viewpoint in both residential and commercial co-ventures by orchestrating strategic alliances in financing, investing and real estate development, and debt and equity placement.
Jeff and Shari have two beautiful children Abbi and Noah. Jeff loves to travel with his family. Jeff also is an avid golfer, hiker, and skier. He maintains his interests in football, hockey and lacrosse all of which he team played in high school.
Jeff is a Current Board Member of the Las Vegas Chapter of PAWS and the Advertising CO-OP of Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop. He is the current President of the Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop Franchise Advisory Council, and past board member of the Las Vegas JCC, the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Squaw Creek Country Club and Temple El Emeth. Jeff’s active philanthropic interests include JDF, JCC, Temple Beth Shalom, Western Reserve Academy, Babson College, and The Meadows School.
