AI-powered robotics company Aniai has established its headquarters in New York City and has added a new executive member to its leadership team, according to a press release.
The brand has named Eric Hansen as head of sales. Hansen has experience with Uber Eats and Groupon.
“As someone who is just as passionate about restaurants and technology as I am, I’m elated to welcome Eric to the Aniai team,” Gunpil Hwang, Aniai CEO, said in the release. “Having spent the past few years establishing Aniai in South Korea, breaking into the North American market is a massive step for our team and Eric’s proven track record in working with and understanding restaurant brands, knowledge of the QSR industry and other related areas makes him a valuable asset to the team.”
Aniai’s flagship product, Alpha Grill, uses AI and robotics to automate the hamburger cooking process. The brand is beta testing it with several North American hamburger brands.
