Jars by Fabio Viviani, the single-serve dessert concept founded by chef Fabio Viviani, has signed a seven-unit franchise agreement in the Kansas City market, according to a press release.
The partnership brings together Jars and its newest franchisee, Troy Lovins, an entrepreneur with a vision to diversify his business portfolio beyond service brands and introduce a user-friendly dessert concept to the Kansas City scene. Currently in the process of selecting retail locations across the region, including Lee’s Summit, Johnson County and Northland for his initial establishments, Lovins is poised to bring Jars to Kansas City residents.
Lovins, bringing a background in engineering and consulting, began with his franchising endeavors with his brother, owning multiple Sport Clips locations, followed by ventures in the wellness industry with Hand and Stone locations.
“I entered the world of franchising to become my own boss, to step away from the innovation side of business and focus solely on being the operator of a fantastic concept,” Lovins said in the press release. “I evaluated numerous restaurant and dessert concepts, and once I delved deeper into Jars, I couldn’t resist the allure of this fun brand with its remarkably simple and intelligent model. I was hooked from the very start.”
“I am absolutely thrilled that Jars will be expanding its footprint to the vibrant Kansas City market alongside such a seasoned franchisee as Troy,” Viviani said. “His dedication to creating an exceptional dessert experience for Kansas City residents, coupled with his extensive business and franchising experience, makes him the ideal partner for Jars.”
