Checkers & Rally’s is reminding fans of fries that National French Fry Day has been moved to the second Friday of July. This year, that date falls on July 14, according to a press release.
Last year, the brand successfully petitioned the National Day Calendar to ensure Fry Day falls on a Friday. This year, the two brands will offer guests a free order of extra-large fries from July 14-July 16 for rewards app members.
“Rallying America and fry fans across the country to permanently move this beloved food holiday was a monumental moment for Checkers & Rally’s and it’s our privilege to celebrate the official change beginning this year in a big way,” Frances Allen, president and CEO of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc., said in the press release. “Whether fries are paired with a meal or served as a stand-alone order, they’re always a staple and our Famous Seasoned Fries are no exception. We want to reward our fry family with not just one, but two special fry promotions, thanking them for loving fries as much as we do.”
Checkers & Rally’s will also offer fries in small, medium or large sizes for $1 from July 24 to Aug. 6 for rewards guests.
Checkers & Rally’s has 850 restaurants.
