FSGenius, a technology and services company helping the foodservice equipment and supplies industry to improve training, has added two publishers to its online training platform.
Cleveland Range, a Welbilt brand for commercial steam cooking equipment, and Cres Cor, a family-owned equipment manufacturer, have joined FSG to help train their channel partners across the FES industry.
FSG’s core offering is an online training platform that allows manufacturers to publish courses to a single site, and in turn allows technicians, sales reps and dealer salespeople to access training from multiple brands on one site, according to a press release.
“Cleveland Range has always been committed to training its channel partners,” John Lanning, VP of sales and marketing of Cleveland Range, said in the release.”Moving some of our training from in-person to online through FSGenius was an easy decision. For less than we might spend on one in-person session to reach 10 or 15 reps, we will train our entire rep network.”
Cleveland Range is offering certifications to reps that complete their eight training modules.
In addition to Cleveland Range, Cres Cor is collaborating with FSG to ensure consistent training and measurement for its network of rep agencies.
“Cres Cor relies on our MAFSI sales reps as genuine partners in our business, and training is a critical investment in our joint success,” Michael Capretta, VP of sales and marketing, Cres Cor, said in the release. “Two things about online training really captured our attention. First, the training is always consistent. Every rep across the country will be getting the same product information and selling points. The second thing is the ability to measure our training. With the FSG training platform, we know exactly how many people we are reaching and how well we are preparing them to talk about Cres Cor products.”
As FSG adds manufacturer’s training materials to the platform, the company moves closer to its goal of creating an industry-standard system that provides the greatest possible efficiency for FES industry professionals.
“Cleveland Range and Cres Cor are both highly respected in the foodservice equipment industry, and we’re very proud to be working with them,” Dennis O’Toole, founder and managing director of FSG, said in the release. “In both cases, we were able to take some of their existing materials and create sales training courses that have been very well received.”
