Facing rampant inflation and rising food costs Pita Mediterranean Street Food Founder and CEO Nour Rabai knew a value menu was necessary to meet customer needs.
The new-and-improved Pita menu highlights freshness, flavor and consumer choice, according to Rabai, who said it includes an increase in traditional dishes and presentations, enabling the franchise to better utilize ingredients and assist with ease of operations, and new value menu selections.
Some updates and additions include:
- $4.95 mini pitas.
- New starters such as spanakopita and veggie grape leaves.
- Classic Mediterranean wraps made with traditional lavash.
- Authentic mezze including crispy deep cheese rolls, available with chicken, gyro or seafood.
- The option of traditional rice or salad greens in popular bowls.
- A variety of new sauces.
Instead of an a la carte approach, Pita guests are accustomed to a wrap partnered with a side dish.
“It creates a WOW factor at one set price point,” Rabai said in a company press release. “The new menu items simultaneously streamline workflow, enhance the guest experience and potentially offer a better bottom line for franchisees.”
Georgia-based Pita has locations throughout the Southeast and is growing into the Midwest.
