The Shamrock Shake returns to McDonald’s menus beginning Feb. 20, according to a report in TheStreet.
The green drink first appeared in the 1970s and returns every year in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
This year, however, the Chicago-based burger brand will bring back the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry as well.
“Made with our creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with a delicious, whipped topping, the Shamrock Shake quickly captured the hearts (and taste buds) of America when it was first introduced in 1970. And for a twist on this delicious classic, check out the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, which first debuted in 2020 and comes blended with crushed Oreo cookies,” McDonald’s wrote in a press release.
