In honor of New York Fashion week, and in an effort to woo the fashion aficionado and the foodie, Panera Bread has debuted the BAGuette, a 12-inch purse designed to carry one of its toasted baguettes, a line of sandwiches launched last month.
“Our new toasted baguettes mark the first time that Panera has crafted a delicious sandwich in celebration of our iconic baguette, and this is certainly the first time we have created a purse,” Drayton Martin, VP of brand building, said in a company press release. “Both of these creations are amazing celebrations of not only our expertise in all things bread, but also the generous touches that make each Panera experience special.”
Donned in Panera’s favorite color, green, the bag features an embossed pattern and flag magnetic closure with a custom metal “P” buckle and gold hardware.
Fans may purchase the bags for $39.50 through Feb. 13 on PaneraBaguetteBag.com, but only 500 are available.
