Waitbusters Puts Its Money Where Its Mouth Is in 2023 by Offering Its Online Ordering Software for Free

Atlanta, GA  (RestaurantNews.com)  Waitbusters, LLC announced today that 2023 will be the year of free online ordering for all restaurants utilizing their Digital Diner software.  After a rough couple of years for restaurants following the pandemic, Waitbusters launched the initiative for both mom and pops and small chains alike that are trying to stay afloat.

WB’s mission statement of “Helping independent restaurants not just survive but thrive” has been taken to a new level in 2023. The company has always provided an affordable and commission free online ordering system, including custom-branded menus, in-house and curbside pickup, delivery drivers, POS integrations, 3DP order integration and marketing tools, but with a recession looming and labor shortage still at issue, we felt that we could do more, said Chief Product Officer and Head of Strategic Partnerships, Shane Gau.

Waitbusters is now giving restaurants access to their complete online ordering platform, including delivery and marketing at NO COST.  By providing the system at no cost, restaurants will receive a personalized online ordering page, will no longer be forced to depend on third party delivery services, and will be able to generate revenue from off premises dining. A small convenience fee will be passed on to customers.

In addition to being free, the benefits of Waitbusters online ordering system include:

  • Restaurants get their own custom branded direct ordering website.
  • Restaurants can offer delivery without having to hire drivers or pay commissions.
  • Restaurants are paid immediately vs. having to wait days or even weeks.
  • Restaurants own the customer data on their delivery orders instead of ownership by companies like DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub.
  • Restaurants can track where all their online orders come from and are able to match every sale to the money they’ve spent on Google or social media platforms.
  • Restaurants can reach out to their previous customers via text and send them personalized offers based on their order history.

“At the end of the day, we all have a stake in seeing restaurants succeed.  We hope this initiative does just that, explained Gau.”
