The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, owned by United Franchise Group, has opened its first Fort Lauderdale-area restaurant at 753 E Commercial Blvd., in Oakland Park’s Northridge Shopping Center.
“My wife (Yuliana Alvarez) and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve fresh Mediterranean favorites and bold, unique flavors to our community,” franchisee Martin Monev said in a company press release. “Everything is prepared fresh daily in our kitchen using family recipes that have been passed down for generations, so we’re confident that we’ll offer the perfect choices to satisfy any craving.”
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill was founded in 2011 by two third-generation culinary trained restaurateurs and offers a variety of customizable options, including a Classic Greek Salad with choice of Gyro Meat, Salmon or several other protein choices. Guests may also order desserts, including Baklava Ice Cream and Rice Pudding.
