Nando’s Peri-Peri, a South African fast casual brand, is opening in the North Dallas Corridor at Village on the Parkway in Addison, Texas. Construction will soon be underway on a 2,800-square-foot space at 5100 Belt Line Road just off the Dallas Parkway, and a debut is slated for late spring 2023, according to John Fisher, CEO of Nando’s Peri-Peri
“We can’t wait to welcome Nando’s first-timers and the many North Texas loyalists who have rallied to bring the brand here,” he said in a company press release. “Dallas is an important city in our future, and we’re excited about opportunities for growth in this market. We’re also looking forward to being among the many food and beverage offerings that make bustling Village on the Parkway a dining and entertainment destination.”
The company’s journey from the tip of Africa to the heart of Texas began 35 years ago with a single location in Johannesburg. The chain now spans 24 nations from Australia to Zimbabwe and landed stateside in 2008 with its inaugural U.S. restaurant in Washington, DC. It has locations in nearly 50 sites in DC, Maryland, Virginia, Chicago and now Texas, where Dallas and Houston will be the initial launch market for the famed brand.
