Houston-based Antone’s Famous Po’ Boys is opening within three Texas airports — George Bush Intercontinental and William P. Hobby airports in Houston and Dallas Ft. Worth Airport. The chain’s first airport location opened in 2021 inside Austin Bergstrom International Airport.

“Year after year, there’s been an increased demand for Antone’s across Texas,” Antone’s CEO Craig Lieberman said in a company press release. “We’re honored to continue to provide a well-known brand to loyal Texans. Now, we’re excited to see our po’ boys travel to destinations across the U.S. and introduce them to newcomers.”

Founded in 1962 as Antone’s Import Company by Jalal Antone, the son of Lebanese immigrants, Antone’s has evolved into a fast casual concept serving cold, white-wrapped,grab-and-go style sandwiches.

The brand has two full-service locations in Houston and a retail line within Texas-area grocery stores. Its fast casual locations are inside Houston’s Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson’s Rotary House, Darrel K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, Antone’s Nightclub and Circuit of Americas.
