Wendy’s is on a roll with its flavored Frosty LTOs. The brand will offer a peppermint Frosty for a limited time this holiday season. Wendy’s launched a strawberry flavor over the summer, and sales were so good the company wanted to try another new flavor, according to a CNN report.
The peppermint Frosty launches Nov. 15 and replaces the strawberry flavor. The brand’s vanilla flavor, introduced in 2006, is suspended while peppermint gets its chance on the market. Peppermint is only the third new flavor for Wendy’s after vanilla and strawberry.
“Folks enjoyed the strawberry Frosty enough that we knew it was important to get after another flavor and one that would tie well with the holidays,” Carl Loredo, Wendy’s chief marketing officer, told CNN Business. “Peppermint is amazing, and it’s a great way to ring in the holiday season.”
