In a podcast with Mandy Wolf Detwiler, managing editor of Networld Media Group, Winnie Tang, director of business development at Givex, a technology platform for the hospitality industry, talked about what her company provides customers and how it can help customers increase revenue.
“We offer our company a number of suite of products, from gift card and loyalty to point of sale and really help our clients engage with their customers in increasing revenue and their volume,” Tang said.
During the pandemic, Givex was able to thrive in a remote work environment. “We expanded,” Tang said. “Our team is now over 300 employees in 12 offices. We’ve upgraded a lot of our internal communications now and we went public on the TSX here in Canada and the OTC in the US. That was a huge achievement and quite rewarding just to see the fruits of our labor in going of public.”
The company launched Givex Pay, and although they’ve remained payment agnostic it’s just another offering for those clients wanting a one-stop shop and to receive everything through one vendor.
