Hero Brands, which ownsGerman Doner Kebab, Island Poke, Choppaluna and the cloud-kitchen concept Sides, will have opened over 220 locations by year’s end, bringing its total footprint to 400. The chain has also partnered with Dirty Bones, a NYC-inspired food and cocktail concept, to drive growth.
“We have been focused on developing a growing portfolio of category breaking brands, and 2022 is going to be a huge year for the group as we bring momentum to our new opening strategy,” Imran Sayeed, CEO of Hero Brands, said in a company press release.
The Scottish-headquartered group will open 106 German Doner Kebabs, 14 Choppalunas and 19 Island Poke locations. Sides is also expanding; as it will be available from another 84 locations by the end of the year throughout the U.K., Europe and North America.
To support growth and development, Hero Brands has moved its headquarters to Peel Park in East Kilbride, Scotland.
